More Fabric Postcards

Last weekend I got into making more fabric postcards.  Here are two of them.  Both are 5 in X 7 in.

This one I call “Wish you were here.”

Here’s the back.

The second one I have sent to @DrSnit loves pink flamingos.  I called it “Come away with me.”
Here’s the back of it.

These remind me so much of the one you made with Cecelia (which I packed yesterday).

I love these! Are you going to write on them and mail them?

Mary Jo, I've actually written on one and mailed it (the one with the pink flamingo). I put it in a manila envelope to mail it. Because I "bind" mine rather than just zigzaging or serging the edges to finish, it is more of a mini quilt with a stiff layer of Peltex.

Mine would never pass the postal service rules for a postcard. Too thick to go through the machinery, but otherwise are postcard size. :)

Wish You Were Here made me laugh out loud - I love it! I've tried postcards only once and found the binding on something that small to be a real challenge! blessings, marlene

Do you use a permanent marker for writing?
