This is one I may very well keep. This beret is knit using the pattern Brambles Beret by Amanda Muscha. The yarn, Cascade Yarns Eco Duo, is so soft. It was a pleasure to knit.
Here is a closer view to show the lovely cables.
Here is the underside
I am a plastic surgeon in Little Rock, AR. I used to "suture for a living", I continue "to live to sew". These days most of my sewing is piecing quilts. I love the patterns and interplay of the fabric color. I would like to explore writing about medical/surgical topics as well as sewing/quilting topics. I will do my best to make sure both are represented accurately as I share with both colleagues and the general public.

Beautiful design. It's so cute.
Pretty! It looks so soft and warm. My d-i-l uses yarns like that. She is always knitting something, My m-i-l always comments on how good her tension is. D-i-l just made a sweater for baby Myles and she's always making hats, scarves, socks, sweaters, afghans and even created a dog sweater that got published in a magazine some years back. Although she was upset they changed one thing on it.
